The National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) has a requirement for the design, development, fabrication, test (in-plant and on-site acceptance), delivery, installation, integration of GOES S-Band Transmitter System. These transmitter systems are to provide the uplink of multiple carriers to the satellite. The transmit system is to include Klystron high power amplifiers. The transmitter systems are to be installed and integrated into the Wallops CDA Station, Wallops Island, VA and the Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD. The transmitters are to be interconnected into new antennas being provided by others at these sites. Period of performance is 18 months after date of contract. Standard Classification code is 3669. All responsible sources may submit an offeror to the RFP which shall be considered by the agency.
