(TIS) machine is used to verify security thread & water-mark locations and the water mark quality. This transmissive Inspection System is being purchased from Giesecke & Devrient America. The (TIS) must be compatible with the Bureau's existing off-line Currency Inspection System which is propriety to Giescke & Devrient. Award will be made on a sole source basis. See Note ***22 (0064)
