This is a combined/synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N61339-98-Q-0357 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). All references to "offers" are understood to be "quotations". The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. This is a Firm Fixed Price Requirement (FFP). The government intends to award this acquisition on a sole source basis to Concurrent Computer Corporation, Ft Lauderdale, FL. The contract line item numbers is Clin 0001, Power Dist Unit, P/N: 730-1270356-901, 1 each; Clin 0002, 3.OMB ECL-IMS Memory (006D) CCA, P/N: 730-1571620-902, 1 each; Clin 0003, ECL Virtual Memory CCA-192 MB, P/N: 730-157165-903, 1 each; Clin 0004, DR11B/W Immulator, P/N: 046U-2, 1 each. The contractor shall deliver to NAS Jacksonville, FL 32212, F.O.B. destination and within 60 days of award. The contracting officer is not responsible for locating any information not identified in the quote and reasonably available. FAR 52.212-1 "Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (OCT 1995)" is incorporated by reference and applies to this procurement. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The provision 52.212-2 "Evaluation -- commercial items" is incorporated by reference. The Government intends to award a contract, without discussion, to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate quotations: (1) technical capability, (2) price and (3) warranty. Technical is approximately equal to price in terms of evaluation.
