Of Commerce, NOAA, intends to issue a requirements contract for a period of 4 years, base year and three options for the purchase of the following spare part: Optical Disk 650 MB 512 BYTE/SEC, WRITE ONCE, P/N LM510, NSN: 045-01-1667. The equipment is being purchased in support of the National Weather Service, National Logistics Supply Center. The Government does not have specifications or drawings and believes the item is proprietary to Rorke Data Supply, Eden Prairie, MN. The Government intends to contract with Rorke Data Supply for the equipment required. The proposed procurement action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit to only one source under The authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). This is not a call for proposals. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 days after publication. Interested firms shall submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified equipment, and the name, telephone number, and the point of contact for businesses or other Government agencies to which it has previously provided the equipment specified above.
