70 -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE RENEWAL POC Contact Point: Jonathan Palmer, (202) 712-5844, Contracting Officer, Thomas Bordone, (202) 712-1021 The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to conduct negotiations with SAS Institute of North Carolina to provide license renewal of various SAS software in use at USAID including OS, SAS, OS SAS/GRAPH, OS SAS/ETS, OS SAS/FSP, OS SAS1/STAT, OS SAS/ASSIST, OS SAS/CONNECT, OS SAS/AF and OS SAS SHARE. A justification and approval for other than full and open competition has been prepared based on Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. Responsible, responsive firms may submit clear and convincing documentation, including technical and pricing data, to indicate the firm's ability to meet the Government's requirements. If a response is received that meets the requirements, and an analysis of such a response indicates that a solicitation document would be more advantageous to the Government, a formal solicitation may be issued. No solicitation document exists; requests for such documents shall be considered invalid responses. Written response is required within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this action. No oral responses will be accepted. See Note 22. (0063)
