The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) will use the herring as food for Hawaiian monk seals and must meet the following catch/preparation requirements: 1) herring must be individually quick frozen (IQF) within 2-4 hours of harvest (not block frozen); 2) fat content must range from 5%-7% of total weight; 3) herring must be packed in 38-pound boxes and stored in freezers at an even -20 degrees F; and 4) herring cannot have been caught and frozen for more than one mnoth at the time of order. Provide FOB destination price (delivered price) to deliver herring to Honolulu, Hawaii no later than 15 days from the date of award. State best delivery if different from 15 days. Provide Federal tax ID number and DUNS number with quote. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
