A -- AIR WARRIOR PHASE II ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING DEVELOPMENT DUE 031998 POC Marylee Svezia, Contract Specialist, 205-313-4273 The proposed acquisition is for Air Warrior Phase II Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD). Continued development of the Air Warrior systems and integration of the systems with the force modernization aircraft based upon Phase I efforts. Prepare and deliver a Prime Item Development Specification (PIDS). The PIDS will contain all design data and qualification criteria necessary to determine if the AW system requirements have been met. Develop and deliver a System Product Performance Specification (SPPS). This specification will include performance requirements, drawings and interface data sufficient for interchangeability and interoperability to the replacement part level and be suitable for procurement of production quantities. Motorola, Inc. is the sole source the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with under authority of FAR 6.302. See Note #22. (0063)
