The U.S. ARMY TACOM-ARDEC plans to issue a full and open solicitation which involves research, development, test and evaluation of a degradable chaff decoy designed to protect Army aircraft against radar guided missile threats. The degradable decoy shall maintain the same form, fit and function of the Army's M-1 Chaff Cartridge, with the addition of millimeter wave chaff cuts. The decoy must utilize the M796 Impulse Cartridge and be ejected from the M130 or similar dispenser system. (0064)
