C -- ARCHITECT/ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN TO REPAIR HANGAR, BLDG. 177 AT THE NAVAL AIR STATION, JOINT RESERVE BASE, WILLOW GROVE, PA SOL N62472-98-Q-4338 DUE 031898 POC Maria Corona, Procurement Tech., (215) 443-6253, FAX (215) 773-2150 A&E Services are required for the design to repair a Hangar. These services shall include development of plans and specifications and cost estimates suitable for bidding and construction of the facility. This project will be accomplished under a firm fixed price. The firm selected for this small purchase A/E must be multi-disciplines and be familiar with the preparation of specs and cost estimates utilizing NAVFAC SPECSINTACT program. The construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Disciplines required to perform service include Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil with associated drafting requirements, cost estimator and spec writer. Field investigations will be required. Firm will be evaluated on the following: Criteria number one and two are of equal importance. All others are in descending order of importance. 1. professional qualifications necessary for required services including professional registration of members of the firm and outside consultants. 2. Specialized experience, including outside consultants in design of hangars. 3. Quality control program and the sucess of it. 4. Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time. 5. Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industries. List of contracts to include name and telephone number of point of contact. 6. Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project. 7. Volume of work awarded to the firm by DOD during the previous 12 months. It is estimated the contract will be awarded in March, 1998 and completion by June, 1998. A/E firms which meet the requirements are invited to submit a completed SF254 & SF255. All information relating to the firms qualifications must be contained in the Standard Forms. Firms responding to this NLT 4:30 pm on 18 Mar 1998 will be considered.
