This procurement is being advertised as a fully competed procurement, under standard industrial classification code 4953, with a small business size standard of 6.5 million. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Terminal Island, CA intends to award a Waste Collection and Disposal Services contract to the contractor who submits the best value offer (a) within the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles. This solicitation requires: 1). Rental of one (01), 34 cubic yard container/compactor (Container/compactor will be located at FCI Terminal Island). 2). Rental of six (06), 4 cubic yard dumpsters with two having locking lids. 3). Rental of one (1) 20 cubic yard waste container, 4). Pick-up and empty one (01), 34 yard container/compactor each Tuesday and Friday between the hours of 3:30am and 4:30am and returned between the hours of 6:30am and 8:00am. 5). Pick-up and empty six (06), 4 cubic yard dumpsters with lids twice a week, times to be determined by the Facilities Manager and Contractor.
