Z -- ROOF REPAIRS, BUILDING 123 SOL N62472-97-B-3041 POC For plans and specifications call, (732) 323-2494 Synopsis: The work includes all material, equipment, labor and supervision, under a Firm Fixed Price Contract, Base Bid and one (1) Bid Option to provide the following: Base Bid includes the removal of existing built-up roofing, asbestos containing roof flashing felts and other roof-top items and the application of a new single ply roofing system and incidental related work on Building No. 123. Performance period is 120 calendar days. The work under Bid Option 1 includes: 1. Brick repair, pressure washing and waterproofing the outside walls of the building, 2. Repainting, cleaning and sealing building joints (excluding capstones) 3. Provision of new canopy, door and ladders. 4. Painting and 5. Downspout repair on Building No. 123 and incidental related work. Performance period for Bid Option 1 shall be as follows: if awarded within 30 calendar days of the base contract award date, the contract completion date will remain unchanged. If awarded between day 31 and day 120 from the base contract award date, a separate completion date will be established allowing a 90 calendar day performance period for Option One (1) only. The original contract completion date for the Base Bid shall remain unchanged. The contract includes the clause titled "Evaluation of Options" (FAR 52.217-5)Except when determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interest, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirements. Evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s).(End of provision). The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1761. The related Small Business Size Standards is $7.0 million annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years.
