This solicitation invites proposals for an Indefinite Quantity Roofing Construction Contract for the South Georgia Area & 11 South Carolina Counties. Proposal amount will be in the form of a two digit single mutliplier to be applied against the attached unit price schedule for future work orders which include, but not limited to, minor alterations, repairs, and replacements for roof work in US Postal Service owned and/or leased buildings. Asbestos work related to roof repairs and/or replacement may be required under this contract. The contract will be for a two year period with the initial contract amount of $250,000. A $20,000 proposal guarantee is required and payment and performance bonds will be required of the successful offeror(s). The contract may be modified by agreement of both parties up to an amount not to exceed $3,000,000, which will require that payment and performance bonds be increased to cover the total contract amount. There may be more than one contract award as a result of this Solicitation. If only one contract is awarded, it would be awarded to the qualified offeror with the lowest multiplier. If more than one contract is awarded, the additional award would be to the qualified offeror with the next lowest multiplier. Proposal Receipt Location: Facilities Service Office, U. S.
