Jefferies, Contracting Officer (telephone: 931-454-7841) This project is for resurfacing approximately 9,450 linear feet of asphalt pavement on North Shore Drive, Arnold Engineering Development Center, Arnold AFB, Tennessee. The work includes installation of geotextile paving fabric, overlaying hot-mix bituminous surface course, removing existing culverts and installing new culverts, construction of shoulders, raising a guardrail and providing thermoplastic pavement markings. The performance period shall be ninety calendar days following receipt of a written notice to proceed, with all work to be accomplished between 1 April and 31 October of 1998. The estimated order of magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Any responsible firm may submit a bid which shall be considered. Foreign participation is authorized. Any firm responding to this notice should do so in writing and should indicate whether or not it is a small business and whether or not it is a small disadvantaged business.
