45 -- 10,000 CFM VENT UNITS SOL N00181-98-R-0027 POC Kiera Rustay, Code 531.5A, (757) 396-8376; Mary Ward, Code 532, (757) 396-8376 Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex, intends to procure two (2) 10,000 CFM ventilation (vent) units with an option for up to six (6) additional units. The vent unit shall consist of hepa filter bank housings, recirc/exhaust (R/E) fan, packaged cooling with electrical heat rooftop unit, duct silencer, airflow measuring stations for measurements of total system flow rate and exhaust flow rate, ductwork, 200mesh/40mesh screen housing, gages and meters, associated electrical equipment, and vent skid. The unit cooling capacity shall be 17-1/2 tons, and heating capacity shall be 245 MBH (245,000 BTUH). The proposed contract will be awarded for a base quantity of two (2) each with an option for up to six (6) additional units. There will be a pre-proposal conference held at Norfolk Naval Shipyard with the date and time designated in the solicitation package when issued. Vent units will be awarded on a F.O.B. Destination basis for delivery to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA23709-5000. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be specified in the Request For Proposal (RFP) when issued.
