Accelerometer characteristics consist of zero turn-on trend electronics, enhanced radiation tolerance, <.1UG resolution/threshold, excellent bias and scale factor repeatability, scalability, and the hermetic package meets stringent military and space environments. QUANTITY: 11 EACH This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Allied Signal, Inc., pursuant to FAR 13.106-2(5). The G-Limit Glove Box Experiment requires the acceleration measurement resolution to be less than .1 UG with a noise level less than 10 NA from 0-10HZ. The QA-3100 are the only accelerometers available which meets these requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See Internet Note "B". (0065)
