Burks, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5021 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) plans to contract with Applied Research Associates, Carpenter Research Corporation, Pacific-Sierra Research Corporation, and VVL, Inc., for further development of shock physics efforts under the Greybeard project. The Greybeard project is DSWA's attempt to document a comprehensive collection of unique and irreplaceable nuclear weapon effects information with those individuals who were the test participants. Nuclear experts associated with these companies will perform this research. DSWA believes that individuals within these companies are the only responsible source that has the experience in place to conduct the effort. See Note 22.
