Defense Supply Service-Washington on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Army (Operations Research) is seeking a contractor to provide analytic support to the Army Study Program to include a wide-range of studies and analyses. The Army has a continuing need for analysis of systems under consideration for development or acquisition and alternative force designs, manning, mobilization, and other topics related to the effectiveness of the force. Army strategic principles, policies, procedures and force structure are continuously and regularly assessed and analyzed to remain responsive to the ever-changing nature of the world. The objectives of this contract are quick turn-around analytic support services to carry out strategic policy analyses for the Army and operational analysis services. Services are currently being provided under contract numbers DASW01-95-D-0077 with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and DASW01-95-D-0085 with BDM. The period of performance shall be for: a base year and two option years. RFP DASW01-98-R-0061 shall be available on or about April 6, 1998. All requests for a copy of the RFP must be in writing.
