No. 7-98-R11 DUE 040798 POC Contact Point, Cecilia Rogers, 541/416-6534, FAX 541/416-6661 This solicitation consists of grafting succulent scion material onto designated rootstock trees and caring for the new grafts throughout the establishment period, May 14, 1998 through August 1, 1998. The Government will furnish healthy scion material, whole tree numbers, coolers or ice chests for storage and transportation of scion, bagged cocktail ice, and breeding blocks will be marked. Contractor must have minimum of five years experience of succulent Ponderosa pine. Contractor or his representative must have experience of completing over 1000 grafts per season. The Contractor or his representative must be on site at all times while grafting is taking place. Start work date is May 15, 1998. Bid Item 01A is grafting and maintenance for a minimum 100 and a maximum of 500, for the Ochoco National Forest, and Bid Item 01B is grafting and maintenance of Ponderosa pine, with a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 550 for the Deschutes National Forest.
