Roscoe, 202-395-7670 The Office of Administration requires a contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to provide recording and transcription of speeches, remarks, briefings, meetings, news conferences, toasts, responses to dignitaries, news reports or portions of broadcast programs, any and all other duties that fall under the director of the White House Office of the Press Secretary. The contractor can expect to provide four to five staff to support daily requirements, but must be capable of expanding staff to support multiple events. Services shall be provided in a variety of settings in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and locations throughout the world. The contractor may not subcontract for work performed outside of the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Contractor staff shall be available for duty within 30 minutes from the time of initial notification by the Office of the Press Secretary. The period of the contract will be one year, with four one-year option periods. Request for Proposals No. EOPOA-98-09 will be available on or about April 1, 1998.
