14 -- PENGUIN MISSION CONTROL SYSTEMS, TEST SETS, WARHEADS, ROCKET MOTORS, AND WINGS AND CANARDS POC Contact Kraig Draper, Phone (301)757-5922 Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to procure thirteen (13) Mission Control Systems (MCS), forty-five (45) MCS Test Sets, five (5) Warhead sections, five (5) Rocket Motors, and five (5) sets of Wings and Canards for the Penguin MK2 MOD7 tactical missile. This requirement includes the procurement of all related equipment and services, and installation. NAVAIR intends for this procurement to be awarded to Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KA) P.O. Box 1003, N-3601 Kongsberg, Norway. Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace is the sole developer, designer and manufacturer of the Penguin missile, and is the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities and experience to perform this effort within the required timeframe.
