Dahlgren Division of NSWC intends to award a sole source to Concurrent Computer Corporation for proprietary hardware, software and extended warranty service for Automated information System (AIS) to the US Navy next generation B/L 6Ph3 AEGIS shipboard weapon system. The coverage is for approximately 375 pieces of hardware with associated software, to include cabling, monitors, storage devices, CPU's, tape devices, file systems, and other components. Dahlgren Division reserves the right to award either a firm fixed price contract with option years or an Indefinite Quantity Delivery Order type contract. NSWCDD Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division is implementing Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area. Therefore, the synopsis and resulting solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http:/www.nswc.navy.mil/supply.
