Dahlgren Division of NSWC intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for Automated Data Processing (ADP) preventive and remedial maintenance services for Government-owned computer equipment including central processing units, direct access devices, tape devices, laser printers, networking components and other associated equipment for name brand equipment. The name brand of hardware includes, but not limited to Sun Micro Systems, HP, Silicon Graphics and other brand name equipment. The contractor shall have a four (4) hour response time and a twelve (12) hour resolution time. Coverage time may vary, but will be up to twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, at the fixed monthly charges shown in Section B of the contract. Maintenance service shall provide coverage for all mechanical, electrical and fiber optic components including cabling of the equipment and their interface. All Contractor maintenance personnel requiring access to the equipment shall possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance. The Contractor shall perform semi-annual inventory of the equipment, components, and configurations under contract. NSWCDD Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division is implementing Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area. Therefore, the synopsis and resulting solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http:/www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. Effective 1 October 1997, solicitations and amendments are only available at the above web site. No hard copies will be provided.
