development of a WEB site with a list of known genes that are involved
in responses to environmental chemicals that may influence
susceptibility to human disease. The contractor will be required to
search all known macromolecular information resources and based on
literature analysis, determine all pertinent annotation, biological and
biochemical information which would identify the gene as
environmentally relevant, including but not limited to identification
of the translation product, and its function in metabolism, as well as
known polymorphic variations, modes of regulation of expression,
phenotypic variation of known polymorphisms and tissue specificity.
