The U.S. Army Material Command (AMC) has tasked the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) to conduct an acquisition which will result in the modernization of the wholesale logistics processes and associated information technology to support those processes. This acquisition will utilize the recently enacted changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). In accordance with FAR 15.202, the acquisition will commence with an Advisory multi-step process utilizing a Request For Information.
