H -- NATO: SERVICES OF INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION CONTRACTOR SOL CO-8301-IVV DUE 032098 POC Alexis Kemper (202-482-1512) The NATO C3 Agency is inviting bids for the procurement of the services of an Independent Verification and Validation Contractor for the project ACE ACCIS-provide Logistics Functional Area Subsystems (Log FASS) for SHAPE and Reaction Forces. SHAPE is using two prototype systems which are known as the Allied Deployment and Movement System (ADAMS) and the ACE Resource Optimization Software System (ACROSS) as an interim solution to Log FASS. These prototype systems must be "stabilized" to conform with required NATO operation maintenance standards until they can be replaced by the Log FASS resulting from the implementation of CP 5A 003. The IV&V effort requires Verification and Validation experience and expertise in the following areas: a. program management b. risk assessment c. quality assurance d. configuration management e. systems integration methodologies f. automation (hardware, software, and firmware) technology g. software documentation h. software/systems training The IFB will be unclassified, however, successful contractor must have appropriate security clearance to handle and store material at the NATO Secret level.
