The solicitation for the operation of the Denison Job Corps Center located in Denison, Iowa, will be available approximately April 1, 1998. Requests for proposals shall be forwarded to USDOL/Office of J~ob Corps, Region VII/VIII, City Center Square, Suite 1000, 1100 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64105. The resultant contract will cover the period November 1, 1998 through October 31, 2000, plus three (3) governmental unilateral renewal options of one year. The design capacity is 300 students (148 residential males and 148 residential females; 2 non-residential males and 2 non-residential females). The Center has a Single Parent Program to accommodate 32 single parents and a Child Development Care Program to accommodate approximately 36 children. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 8:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) on Wednesday, April 8, 1998, at the Days Inn located at Jct. 59 and 30 South, Denison, Iowa 51442, phone number (712) 263-2500. Following the pre-proposal conference, there will be a tour of the facility. Upon entering the facility, tour participants must report and register at the Administration Building. Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation. All proposals are due on June 3, 1998, no later than 2:00 p.m. (CDT).
