Davy, Regional Contract Specialist The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a non personal service contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing quality control/infectious disease control services to the inmate population housed at the Federal Correctional Institution, Cumberland, Maryland. Services include but are not limited to: submitting written reports, evaluations, and/or plans of treatment for all patients evaluated, enter medical data, collect and coordinate all tracking data and reports, analyze patient satisfaction surveys, maintain a continued quality improvement program, schedule written reports, and monitor key indicators. Requirements include but are not limited to: having a working knowledge of computers, word processors, computer terminology, and a minimum of five years working in the field of quality improvement/infectious disease control. Contractor will be required to submit a resume indicative of their past history and a copy of their insurance certificate. There are an estimated minimum156 sessions, with a session being defined as four hours. Sessions will be scheduled between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Schedule is negotiable and will be determined prior to contract award. The contract period will include a base year, not to exceed twelve months from date of award, with four one year option periods. This is a non personal service not to exceed 30 hours per week, and not a personnel appointment. The anticipated receipt of quotations is June 10, 1998, with an anticipated effective award date of October 1, 1998.
