COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 11,1998 PSA#2049HAMPTON, VIRGINIA CLASS IN "THE FUNDAMENTALS OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
CONTRACTING" FOR 17 MARCH 1998. The Procurement Assistance Center of
Petersburg, Virginia will offer a professional Government Contracting
Course in "The Fundamentals of Federal Government Contracting" on 17
March 1998 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The class will be held at the
Small Business conference room located at the Thomas Nelson Community
College in Hampton, Virginia. The class is "FREE" for all attendees.
Large businesses, small businesses, newly-starting businesses, and
entrepreneurs are all welcome. The class will be "open forum" which
means you may ask anything about the subject you wish, at any time, and
in any depth. This class will cover the language of contracting, the
key players, and some of the primary forms; its objective is to enable
you to bid intelligently and to market yourself and/or your company
effectively to the Federal, state and local contracting offices.
Materials will also be provided free of charge and include a text on
the fundamentals and a Government Contracts Dictionary. Call Sally
