The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to provide appropriate initial and recurrent ground school, cockpit procedures trainer, level "C" simulator and flight training to airline transport pilot standards for a type rating for 10 FAA pilot/inspectors in the Cessna 550 Citation aircraft. The training is to include Cessna 500 differences. The contract will be for a one year base period with two (2) 1-year option periods to be exercised at the option of the government. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8299. Interested companies should initially attempt to download the solicitation from the Internet. The SIR is intended to be placed on the internet by March 12, 1998.
