Contract Specialist Dori N Omon (206) 764-3635 (Site Code DACA67) Work
will be conducted under the direction of the Seattle District, U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers. Project includes excavation of approximately
150,000 CY of gravel from the Cedar River Channel and the construction
of a Mitigation Channel requiring approximately 8,000 CY of
excavation. Project limits for Channel excavation are at the mouth of
the Cedar River and the Williams Avenue Bridge. Mitigation Channel is
located near Maple Valley Road and 149th Avenue SE. Equipment to
include; a) hydraulic excavators, b) dump trucks with drop axle, c)
dozer, d) front end loader, e) rubber-tired crane with water truck.
AVAILABILITY: Plans and specs available on or about 7 April 1998 at no
charge per set. No individual sheets are available. Documents will be
issued on a first come, first served basis until supply is exhausted.
No phone requests accepted. Refer to IFB Number DACW67-98- B-0016 when
ordering. Requests MUST BE IN WRITING and be received before bid
documents will be mailed. Requests may be FAXed to (206)764- 6817 or
sent via eMail to plans-room-cenws-ct@usace.army.mil, an additional
confirmation copy of your request need not be mailed. Please be sure to
include if you are a Prime, sub or Plans Room. Plans and specs may be
picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the hours of
7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Submit requests by 3 April 1998. Estimated dollar
value is in the range of $1,000,000 (1 Million) to $5,000,000 (5
Million) and estimated completion date is 1 September 1998. Standard
Industrial Classification Code is 1629. Project is open to both large
and small business. *If you are a large business and your bid or
proposal will exceed $1,000,000 you will be required to submit a
subcontracting plan. *For the purposes of this procurement a concern is
considered a small business if its average annual receipts are
