Contract line item 0001 is for 3 EA of Shaft (NSN 2840000127100RW, P/N 6849607). Size/Dimensions: Approximately 12 inches x 4 inches x 3 inches; Form/Fit/Function Description: turbine coupling shaft purpose is to transfer turbine rotor torque to the compressor rotor, the front is externally splined at the front and rear, the front shft splined into the compressor coupling and the rear splined into the turbine shaft coupling.; Predominant Material of Manufacture: steel. Material is to be delivered to Kelly AFB, TX (FB2059) as follows: 3 EA -- Sep 98. Acceptance and FOB are at destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition.
