This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The request for quotation number is N00164-98-Q-0106. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-12. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 2449, 500 employees. This requirement is for the removal of 1 each 20-foot Redwood tank and the manufacture and installation with plumbing of replacement tank. The required date for complete removal and installation or new tank is 17 April 1998. The award will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
