McCavitt, (410) 642-6023 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This request for proposal (RFP), number 284-R-98-0002, is for the following proprietary software, available on a sole source basis from Tecsys U.S., Inc., 8101 North High Street, Suite 160, Columbus, OH 43235: (1) EliteSeries Applications Software to include (a) EliteSeries Order Management Software (25 Concurrent User License), (b) EliteSeries Warehouse Management Software (25 Concurrent User License), (c) EliteView Executive Information Software (5 Concurrent User License), (d) EliteClient GUI Interface (30 Concurrent User License), (2) EliteSeries Supporting Software and interfaces including (a) Demand Solutions "Demand Forecasting" (2 Concurrent User License), (b) OptioServer "FormsXpress" (unlimited User License), (c) Loftware Barcode Forms Tool (unlimited User License), (d) Informix Dynamic Server-Workgroup Edition (50 Concurrent User License), (e) Informix Fourth Generation Language Runtime License (50 Concurrent User License), (f) Informix SQL (2 concurrent User License), (3) All EliteSeries Applications Software and EliteSeries Support Software user licenses and support for one year, (4) EliteSeries Application Source Code, (5) EliteSeries driven Informix Developers Kit to include (a) Informix Online Database Development License (3 User License), (b) Informix Fourth Generation Language Development License (3 User License). All deliveries shall be made to Department of Health & Human Services, Supply Service Center, Building 14, Perry Point, MD 21902. Award is required no later than 3/27/98 in order to meet SSC deadlines. Solicitation documents, provisions and clauses herein are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 5045 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
