All feed must meet National Institutes of Health NIH STD No. 1D, for Laboratory Animal Feed Processing and Mill Sanitation and NIH STD No.5D for Nutrient and Chemical Contaminant Analyses of Laboratory Animal Diets. Approximate monthly usage: Rodent 125-50# bags; Autoclavable Rodent 7-50# bags; Guinea Pig 9-50# bags; Rabbit High Fiber 15-50# bags; Ferret 15-50# bags; Mouse High Fat 8-50# bags; and Monkey High Protein 50-25# bags. Feed shall be Purina, as manufactured by Purina Mills, Inc., St Louis, Mo, or equal, having the salient characteristics as annotated in the specifications. Request for Quotation (RFQ806) will be issued on or about 15 calendar days after publication with closing date 30 calendar days after issue date. This Request for Quotation is issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the Agency.
