BLOCK II SCAMP CD-ROM PM Milsatcom, Fort Monmouth NJ, announces the release of the initial revision of the Block II Single Channel Anti-jam Manportable Terminal (SCAMP) Technology Transfer CD-ROM. PM Milsatcom, in conjunction with MIT/Lincoln Laboratory is developing the initial prototype of the Block II SCAMP Milstar terminal. This terminal is lightweight (12 lb.) with low power consumption. The Block II SCAMP prototype will initially operate on the Milstar LDR payload. The purpose of the Block II SCAMP Technology Transfer CD-ROM is to provide a logical, structured means of transferring Milstar terminal technology to industry. This is to assist industry in any current or future terminal development efforts in this area. The CD-ROM documents the terminal level architecture, the expected system performance, and the terminal block diagram with links to complete technical data on each subassembly. Interested Industry participants may request a copy of the CD-ROM at no cost from PM Milsatcom. The ordering information is given below.
