The purpose of this quotation is to procure the services of a backhoe (approximately 300 hours) and dump truck (approximately 250 hours) on a fully operational basis to perform miscellaneous road maintenance work including removal or road slumps and slides, installation of road closure devices such as tank traps and waterbars, roadside clean-up, and other minor road maintenance work on an as-needed-basis. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, fuel, operating supplies, labor, transportation, and incidentals necessary to fully accomplish the work. The work is to be done in various locations on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska. Effective period of contract is from contract award until November 30, 1998.
