This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for construction of an Unsuppressed Engine Test Stand for the 182nd Airlift Wing, Illinois Air National Guard, at Peoria, IL. The SIC for this acquisition is 1542 and the small business size standard is $17 million. Interested concerns should respond, in writing, no later than 10 calendar days after publication of this notice. Work includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, equipment, and materials required to: (1) remove a hush house augmentor tube; (2) excavate to rough grade the area for the proposed unsuppressed engine test stand; (3) modify the existing hush house door opening; (4) provide aggregate base course, PCC pavement, PCC curb and gutter, and tie downs; (5) provide a 4 inch pipe underdrain; (6) provide bituminous shoulder; (7) provide final grading and shaping; and (8) provide site seeding. Bid documents, specifications, and drawings will be issued by a contracted source. The documents will be available on compact disk, floppy disk, or paper at prices charged by the contracted source. This acquisition is unrestricted using sealed bid procedures. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.
