Solicitation notice for construction of an Unsuppressed Engine Test Stand for the 182nd Airlift Wing, Illinois Air National Guard, at Peoria, IL. Work includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to: (1) remove a hush house augmentor tube; (2) excavate to rough grade the area for the proposed unsuppressed engine test stand; (3) modify the existing hush house door opening; (4) provide aggregate base course, PCC pavement, PCC curb and gutter, and tie downs for the unsuppressed engine test stand; (5) provide a 4 inch pipe underdrain; (6) provide bituminous shoulder; (7) provide final grading and shaping; and (8) provide site seeding. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on March 31, 1998, with an estimated bid opening date of May 1, 1998.
