Overholt (216) 902-6217 Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation required to perform structural repairs to Harbor of Refuge LIght, Delaware Bay, Lewes, Delaware. This project consists of major structural work on the Harbor of Refuge Light located in the Delaware Bay next to Lewes, Delaware. Major items of work include: Replacement of all lifelines and the decorative edge piece around the perimeter of the main deck, demolition of the exterior main deck and installation of a new reinforced concrete deck approximately 52 cubic yards, steel repairs to the caisson structure approximately 200 square feet, and surface preparation and painting of the caisson including disposal of lead based paint matter approximately 2,100 square feet. Additional Work Items could include: Repairs to the breakwater and surface preparation and painting of the superstructure approximately 3,100 square feet; Remove electrical panel and breaker; repair breakdwaer; remove sub-cable connector and wires; paint superstructure. Optional items are: Repair concrete cracks; removal of additional concrete; install additional concrete. Majority of the work on this project will be completed on site, which is an offshore location. All work must be completed by mid-September 1998 to ensure the best weather possible. Estimated duration of this contract from Notice to Proceed to shop drawing submittals is 19 weeks or 133 days.
