The Naval Air Systems Command intends to enter into negotiations with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a division of United Technologies, for the procurement of supplies and services to update the Communication, Navigation and Survivability Update (CNSU) system on the VH-3 Executive Aircraft. In addition, NAVAIR intends to procure supplies and services for a Service Life Extension Program on the same aircraft. These two efforts, which have been prototyped by Sikorsky Aircraft will complete the planned CNSU/SLEP lot procurements. Sikorsky Aircraft is the manufacturer of the VH-3 Aircraft and the designer, developer and manufacturer of the CNSU/SLEP upgrade kit an is the only known company capable of performing the subject effort.
