Engineering Center is requesting qualified sources to submit complete
proposals to competitively procure cartridge components for production
of approximately 40,000 cartridges, 40 millimeter; Non lethal, XM1006
with no energetic materials being sought. Pine Bluff Arsenal will
perform the loading, assembling and packing of complete cartridge using
commerically produced projectile assemblies and high/low adapters.
Funding for this effort is subject to availability of funds. Option
quantities up to 1 million total rounds is being comtemplated for this
acquisition. The Government may award any resulting contract to other
than the lowest priced offeror, without discussions or other than the
offeror with the highest technical rating. Government reserves the
right to make either not award or one or more awards. Offeror will be
provided drawings for applicable manufacturing specifications. Any
