Service, in cooperation with Revenue Canada and Servicio de
Administracion Tributaria de Mexico, has identified a requirement for
the development and maintenance of a NAFTA Internet Web Site. The
following information, published in English, French and Spanish,
details the services to be provided in support of this requirement: The
scope of this effort is to provide technical support services to assist
the Governments in developing and maintaining a NAFTA (North American
Free Trade Agreement) Customs Internet Web Site to disseminate Customs
informational documents and forms related to issues pertaining to
NAFTA general import and export laws and regulations. The information
will be provided to the Web Page Management Service in trilingual
format (English, French and Spanish) to be offered to the general
public. The services required shall be contracted to a Web Page
Management Service that may need to work in conjunction with an
Internet Service Provided for the purpose of establishing and
maintaining a Turnkey Web Site. The services of a contractor with
experience in using Web Advantage Dedicated Hosting Service for a
Windows NT Operating System environment is required. The site content
will offer information in either one, two or all three of the languages
simultaneously. All documents being posted shall be manipulated through
appropriate scripting or an optional database in HTML or PDF format.
Additionally, development of the Web Site shall include Intranet
electronic transmittal (E-mail) capability among authorized Trilateral
Customs authorities. L'objet de cet effort est de fournir des services
de soutien technique en vue d'aider les gouvernements a elaborer et a
maintenir un site web Douanes -- ALENA (Accord de libre-echange
nord-americain sur l'Internet pour disseminer les documents
d'information et les formulaire internationaux des douanes sur des
aspects lies aux lois et reglements generaux de l'ALENA visant
l'importation et l'exportation. Cette information sera fournie au
fournisseur de services de gestion de pages web en trois langues
(anglais, francais et espagnol), pou diffusion au grand public. Les
services requis seront obtenus au moyen d'un marche avec un fournisseur
de services Internet, qui se chargera d'etablir un site web cle en main
et de le maintenir. Le fournisseur en question devra avour l'experience
de l'utilisation du service d'hote reserve Web Advantage pur un
environment de systeme d'exploitation Windows NT. Le contenu du site
pourra offrir des renseignements dans un, deux ou trois langues
simulanement. Tous les documents affiches pourront etre manipules en
utilisant un langage d'information en code machine approprie ou une
base de donnees optionnelle en format HTML ou PDF. De surcroit,
l'elaboration du site web comprendra une capacite de transmission
electronique (courrier elec.) entre les trois administrations
douannieres autorisees. La finalidad de este proyector consiste en
proporcionar servicios tecnicos de asistencis a los Gobiernos para
elaborar y mantener una "Pagina Aduanera del TLCAN (Tratero de Libre
Comercio de America del Norte) en la Internet, donde se disemine
documentacion informativa aduanera y todas aquellas regulaciones
relacionadas con importaciones y exporactiones bajo el TLCAN. La
informacion sera proporcionada al prestador del servicio de manejo de
la pagina en tres idiomas (ingles, frances y espanol), a efecto de
darla a conocer al publico en general. Los servicios requeridos se
otorgaran a un prestador de servicio de manejo de "Pagina" wue,
problamente, requerira trabajar conjuntamente con un proveedor de
servicio de Internet, a efecto de establecer y mantener dicha "Pagina".
Se requieren los servicios de un contratista con experiencia en la
utilizacion del "Web Advantage Dedicated Hosting Service", usando el
sistema operativo de "Windows NT". La "Pagina" ofrecera informacion en
cualquiera de los tres idiomas en forma simultanea. Todos los
documentos que se incluyan deberan poder ser manipulados mediante la
escritura apropriada o en una base de datos optativa en "HTML" o en
formato "PDF". Adicionalmente, la "Pagina" debera tener capacidad de
transmision electronica a traves de una red interna (correo electonico)
para uso de las autoridades aduaneras de los tres paises. Requests for
