The Department of the Interior operates a one-of-a-kind uncertificated aircraft that has a Garrett TPE331 Turbine Engine. The aircraft is a highly modified 1952 airframe with over 14,000 total hours. Proposals are sought for a total refurbishment of the airframe, interior, avionics, wings, flight controls, repainting, etc. Aircraft available for inspection mid April 1998. Aircraft will be made available for refurbishment between September 1, 1998 thru January 1, 1999. (0070)
