Notice is hereby given that the National Park Service proposes to award a concession permit authorizing a cooperating association to provide, operate, and maintain the sale of limited photographic supplies and visitor convenience items for sale in conjunction with Cooperating Association activities at Everglades National Park and Dry Tortugas National Parks. This permit renewal has been determined to be categorically excluded from the procedural provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act and no environmental document will be prepared. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 5 of the Concession Policy Act (79 Stat.969:16 U.S.C. 20) Cooperating Associations that sell visitor convenience items hereby waive their rights to a preference in the renewal of this Concession Permit. Any offer, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by the Chief, Concessions Management, Everglades National Park, 40001 State Road 9336, Homestead, Florida 33034, no later than thethirtieth (30th) day following the day the notice is published in the Commerce Business Daily to be considered and evaluated, but no later than close of business April 9, 1998.
