R -- TECHNICAL AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES SOL HQ0006-94-C-0023 POC POC: Ms. Bette Monaco, (703) 604-4458, Reference Number BMDO 98-06 The Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO) plans to issue a sole source modification to contract HQ0006-94-C-0023. This modification will increase the level of effort in the current period of performance (Option 2) by 1,350 labor hours and by 1,350 labor hours in Option 3. Under this contract, Futron Corporation provides services in order to review, refine, document and provide expertise in the following areas: (a) Information Resource Management -- in the area of development and implementation of policies and procedures, planning and oversight activities. (b) Automated Information System Security program in the areas of accreditation; development and implementation of policies and procedures; risk management analysis; security consulting and oversight activities. (c) Information System Architecture support in the areas of strategic planning, conceptual design, technical infrastructure definition, Information Technology (IT) integration, Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) implementation, engineering and procedure development; training; IT and architecture consulting; and oversight activities. The proposed additional hours are required due to increased emphasis on Information Resources Management/Information Systems Security support to the BMDO mission systems.
