Longbrake, Contracting Officer, at (605) 226-7567 The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is soliciting bids from interested laundry contractors to provide linen and laundry service for the Rosebud Hospital, Rosebud, South Dakota. The contractor is required to transport the laundry to their place of buiness, process the laundry and return it to the Rosebud Hospital. The service is to be provided twice weekly. Such services shall include the collection and delivery of laundry, proper cleaning, disinfecting, ironing and folding of laundry, and effective inventory control. The base year for this service is proposed to begin May 1, 1998, and extend through April 30, 1999. The contract will include the option of renewal for (4) four additional option years. The government will not furnish any materials or facilities for use in this contract. The acquisition listed herein is totally set aside for award to a 51% to 100% Indian owned firm pursuant to the Buy Indian Act.
