Y -- GAF PHASE II, SUPPLY WAREHOUSE AND DEMOLITION OF BUILDING 107, OTERO COUNTY, HOLLOMAN AFB, NM SOL DACA47-98-B-0008 DUE 051998 POC Contract Specialist Arabella Candelaria (505) 342-3452 (Site Code DACA47) Description of work: The project consists of construction of a two-story building, approximately 5,200 SM (55,950 SF) including a large warehouse area, and numerous small storage areas for the storage of spare parts, equipment, and ancillary supplies. The building also includes office areas, a military clothing sales area, and a shoppette. Facility includes warehouse shelving and storage systems, and the relocation of existing storage systems from a nearby building at Holloman AFB,. Facility includes loading ramps, fire protection, communications, paving, site utilities, fencing and landscaping. Building consists of a metal building system, with masonry veneer, and metal wall panels. Roof is standing seam metal. Project also includes asbestos abatement and demolition of Building 107, a one story building of approximately 10,000 SF, located on the site of the warehouse building. Plans will be issued on or about 2 April 1998 with bid opening on or about 19 May 1998. A ninety (90) day bid acceptance period will apply to this solicitation. The construction period is 420 calendar days. The cost of plans and specification is $175.00 per set. this charge is non-refundable.
