99 -- EQUIPMENT REMOVAL SOL N00174-98-Q-0193 DUE 041098 POC Carolyn Anderson, (301) 743-6545 To provide for the removal of one (1) Banberry #2 Mixer, five (5)100-gallon Horizontal Mixers, two (2) 22-inch Vertical Blocking Presses, one (1) 16-inch and two (2) 22-inch Horizontal Extrusion Pressed and all related Hydraulic equipment and electrical switch-gear from the Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant at McGregor, Texas. All electrical power will be disconnected and terminated by government personnel. The government will remove hydraulic oil. Equipment will be partially dismantled and cleaned by the contractor to insure removal of all high-energy material (i.e. cleaned to U.S. Army 5-X Level). Contractor must be licensed by A.T.F. to perform this work. Dismantling and cleaning will be completed to the satisfaction of government safety personnel before the equipment can leave the McGregor plant. The contractor must clean-up all trash and debris' that results from this work and must leave areas and buildings in better than or equal to pre-contract conditions. It is assumed that the contractor will retain the removed equipment for resale or scrap valve. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center.
