The National Ground Intelligence Center intends to procure, on a SOLE-SOURCE BASIS, to SAIC, McLean, VA, the loading of previously collected open-source international economic/trade information, data formerly developed by SAIC, onto GLOBUS model. Period of performance 01 April 1998 through 30 September 1998. Interested vendors are invited to submit a response within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this modified notice which must include prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability (capabilities' statement) to meet the above requirements. No soliciation document exists, however, all responses from vendors demonstrating their capabilities will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis, the Contracting Officer may determine that a soliciation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation willbe issued to all firms that are found responsive to the requirements of this synopsis or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
