NASA/ARC plans to issue a draft Request for Offers (RFO)which is designed to solicit industry comments on a firm-fixed price, indefinite quantity, performance-based contract to obtain Logistics Management Services for NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Federal Airfield and Onizuka Air Station, Moffett Field, California. The firm fixed price work consists of: (1) supply and warehouse management; (2) property disposal; (3) personal property management; (4) industrial property; (5) transportation services; (6) transportation services (vehicular). The indefinite quantity work consists of; Unit Priced Tasks (UPT). NASA intends to select a contractor that has proven ability and expertise to perform all phases of the contract. Interested offerors are invited to review the draft solicitation and return any comments no later than March 20, 1998. The electronic draft can be downloaded and read using Adobe Acrobat Reader. After consolidation of industry comments, NASA/ARC plans to issue its final Request for Offers (RFO) to this presolicitation notice by April 17, 1998. The due date for receipt of offers will be stated in the solicitation. The provisions and clauses in the RFO are those in effect through FAC 97-03. Selection and award will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 as stated in the solicitation.
